I really only have one rule about clothes & that is we should be making our own rules! I don't believe in saving my best for best, I believe we should be using the accessories & wearing the clothes that make us happy. Really embrace what makes you you.
Wearing for favourites should feel like listening to your favourite song, it should make your day better, give you confidence & make you feel special.
My kimono layers are designed to add comfort & peace to getting dressed.
A layer for all sorts of days...
*wear over jeans & a vest, super casual
*wear over your night clothes early in the morning as you drink your first cuppa of the day
*wear over your bikini/swimsuit around the pool or on the beach
*wear over a simple outfit as an elegant layer for special occasions
*wear over bare arms for extra warmth on a chilly evening or if you just feel more comfortable with your arms covered
*wear a heavier version on cold days as a coat
I work with different colours, weights & textures of fabrics to take you through the whole year & most occasions. Each piece is handmade & will be added as they are finished.
Each kimono layer is one of a kind but none of the fabric is wasted. The leftover pieces live in my 'muse pot' until they are made into accessories or patchwork.
