Patchwork Quilts & More + PQMDesign

Originally from Germany I came to England in 2004 to get married here. In 2010 I started my business selling hand made bags and quilts as well as teaching sewing classes locally. Over the years I learned a lot about various bags and their “anatomy” and have made many custom made bags, boxes, storage containers and love the challenge to make things just right and fit for purpose. Choosing the right materials and techniques for the job is key and good craftsmanship makes for long lasting enjoyment of the finished article. I dislike waste and I’m not always happy with our throw-away attitude so I try to recycle almost everything and re-use materials wherever possible. I have a separate collection of recycling projects in my shop, have a look and perhaps be inspired to do the same.
