Trixie sews gorgeous vintage style clothes and sewing kits and supplies so that you can make them too.

My mother taught me how to sew when I was 7, I made all sorts of dolls clothes for my Barbies and Sindy dolls and then when I reached my teens I started to make my own clothes.

I went to Art College in the Eighties and had my own unique style which included bright coloured dungarees and head scarves.

Whe I left college I started working in retail at The Body Shop and went on to open my own lifestyle shop called Nice, I had 2 children and didn't really have much time for sewing but it was always something I knew I would come back to.

In 2015 I started a new business, thisa time it was a sewing business, selling funky fabrics and haberdashery, I had a lovely shop and I also ran sewing lessons - this is where I otiginally designed my knicker kits and taught people how to make them.

Unfortunately the Covid pandemic resulted in this business having to close, I now have a retail job again, working at Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museums Wales over seeing all 9 gift shops - a job that I love, but in my spare time I still like to sew and create gifts so this is my space for selling the garments that I make and the kits and supplies so that you can make them too.

I also have 2 lovely grand-daughters now so I am getting the opportunity to sew childrens clothes that I missed when mu children were young.
