I love working with fabrics, colour and texture to create original works of art.

I am a retired teacher, and when I was working I absolutely loved setting up art classes and really wanted to be one of the students rather than the teacher, so when I retired I promised myself that I would dedicate some time to creativity. I have experimented with a variety of paints and inks, but when I discovered fabrics I became very excited and was enthralled by the opportunities opening up before me. I am inspired by the beauty of nature, by poems, by literature and by music and dance. I work in a spare bedroom where I can just leave everything without having to tidy up! I make wall hangings, collages, paintings, books for babies, cards and bags. I’m thrilled to be setting up a shop and hope you enjoy looking at my wares.
