Hello and welcome to my new shop!
I went back to college in my late 30s and then onto university to study Contemporary Textiles. I had a wonderful time. I've had a varied career, working as a potters assistant, teaching assistant then some teaching in art & design.
I am a lover of vintage items, I have a big cabinet full of Knick-knacks, treasures and some say toot!! But I love them, they hold memories of times gone and every time my father went to a car boot he would find me something new!
So I thought, let’s use some of my vintage/new tins and give old images from books a new life! With a mix of hand-drawn and painted detail. I hand cut each section, building layers! A diorama Art work!
These are all unique and can be displayed on a wall or sit on the side. A beautiful surprise for gifting, when they open the tin!
