Tiffany, of Prescott Pottery, is a self-taught potter and qualified teacher with an MA in leading wellbeing in schools. Having taught in schools for many years, often leading the Art curriculum, Tiffany left teaching in schools to work and teach in her own studio as a full-time potter.
Tiffany works out of Pixie Pots Studio in Eaglescliffe and continues to share her passion for pottery with children in schools and teaching to over 50 adults weekly in her studio.
Her current personal projects include the beauty of the green man and the whimsy of Chonkies inspired by animals around her in Yorkshire (including her two chonky rescue cats!)
Inspired by nature, Tiffany creates in response to her surroundings. She uses many methods when working with clay including a blend of slipcasting and handbuilding in earthenware. She then experiments with glaze combinations that emulate the beauty of nature.
