Turning unwanted timber into one-of-a-kind hand-carved creations.

After 25 years working in the building trade, i decided it was time to move towards something i genuinely enjoy - working with wood and creating things with my hands.

The Wonky Log Company started from a simple idea: instead of good timber being chipped, burnt or left to rot, why not give it another life.

I collect unwanted, storm-damaged and otherwise unused timber and turn it into hand carved sculptures, garden pieces, ornaments and completely one-off creations.

Every piece is made by hand, and every piece has its own character. Knots, cracks, grain, twists and imperfections aren't mistakes - they're what make each wonky log unique.

Some pieces are small enough to sit on a shelf, while others are made to become features in gardens, businesses and outdoor spaces.

Nothing is mass-produced. Once a piece is gone, there may never be another exactly like it.
