Welcome to The Pink Pheasant — a little corner of colourful, quirky British creativity.
I’m Emily, the person behind the pencils, ideas and slightly questionable obsession with putting British animals in fabulous outfits.
The Pink Pheasant started with a love of drawing and a desire to create artwork that feels a little different. Nothing too serious, nothing too perfect — just bold colour, hand-drawn character and designs that make you smile.
So, why a pink pheasant?
Because a normal pheasant just wasn’t quite enough.
Our pink pheasant perfectly sums up what this little business is all about: British, playful, colourful and proudly a bit different.
From pheasants in wellies and hares tangled in Christmas lights to countryside-inspired illustrations, cheeky sayings and colourful little characters, every design starts with an idea and is created with personality at its heart.

The Pink Pheasant is home to original art prints, greetings cards, paper goods and illustrated designs, inspired by British life, the countryside and the wonderfully ordinary things around us.
My style is bold, imperfect and intentionally hand-drawn. I love thick sketchy lines, block colours, earthy tones and illustrations that still have that lovely “someone actually drew this” feeling.
You won’t find perfectly polished, soulless designs here.
You’ll find wonky lines, expressive characters, unexpected colour combinations and plenty of personality.
