I caught the Printmaking bug many years ago after doing an evening class, it was here that my tutor introduced me to the work of Edward Bawden & the Great Bardfield artist group. I became fascinated by the process and began to make my own prints inspired by walks in the countryside and a general love of nature, particularly pigeons! I try to imbue my creations with a sense of playfulness & personality and am conscious of design, pairing each work down to it's simplest form.
I make most of my work at Hotbed Press in Salford, a large converted mill close to Manchester City Centre where there is a thriving community of Printmakers.
