Hello all,
I am Angela, designer and creator at Momo Handmade.
I have always loved surface patterns, and been fascinated by Liberty prints from an early age. I have been collecting genuine used liberty and luxury brand ties for over a decade! Being also a vintage lover, I decided to combine both passions and upcycle ties into vintage collars and elegant ties.
The 'Momo collars' were inspired by the 30's, my favourite fashion period. The inspiration for the Momo ties lies in the 1950's with hints of Dior, the 'New Look' fashion of that decade mixed with the style and grace of Audrey Hepburn.
And finally the "The Momo Shop" was named after one of my beloved tabby cats, Momo.

Momo handmade fashion is upcycled in York, I support "slow fashion" and am proud to do my bit to protect the planet by upcycling preloved accessories.
