Hi there, my name is Penny, I live in Staffordshire with my husband and two dogs and I just love to create, I always have ‘ideas’ and a stash of fabric, I’m not a professional, but an enthusiastic self taught amateur with a passion for fabric, especially collecting vintage fabric and reducing landfill.. why would anyone throw fabric away?haha.
After retiring from nursing, we moved to France for a few years to enjoy a retirement adventure, hopefully the first of many, but I have discovered that I can actually sew anywhere, within reason… I made some items to raise funds for a dog rescue charity I volunteered for, I hope to be able to donate a % to this small charity as I can no longer volunteer and foster dogs now that we have returned to the UK
My passion isn’t limited to sewing, you may see other crafted items pop up in my new Folksy shop…. At the time of writing, I’m still trying to be brave enough to add some items for sale… don’t we all have an element of thinking we are not good enough?
