Hi there. We're a husband and wife team who wanted to move away from Big Pharma and look at more natural options when considering wellbeing.
I'm Samantha, creator of the humble herb. I've suffered with ME, breast cancer & the menopause (Bingo I hear you shout, a full house).
I wanted to use 100%natural, 100%vegan, 100% cruelty free products on my body as I was aware of the importance of balancing all the various receptors that lie within, and 8 years ago, the options were quite limited. So I researched and experimented with balms that worked for me. I wanted a good punch of CBD, infused with specific, high quality, essential oils to support my journey through some of the biggest challenges that life could throw at me. I have to stress that I'm not a medical professional at all, I just created what seemed to comfort me.
But then friends and family started to use these balms and kept coming back for more. So about a year ago, Tony (hubby) and I went through the process of getting the required certification to be able to sell them to everyone. I figured that the more people that gained the benefits derived from these little 30ml tins of magic, the better. So Tony & I lovingly create these balms from our country cottage, so it really is a cottage industry product and created the process from recipe, to design to delivery. We have started being stocked by some retailers which is fantastic, but we thought that a shop here on Folksy for our CBD Balms would be the perfect shop window for us. Just to let you know, the Mend & Sport balm contain a massive 1000mg of CBD in a 30ml tin. The Ease & Calm balm have a punchy 500mg of CBD in a 30ml tin.
