Hello, I'm Michaela, the maker behind The Crooked Dell.
I live on the North West coast of England with my husband, eldest daughter, two crazy cockapoos and a witchy black cat. I've always loved beautiful sunsets, the moon and anything with just a little touch of magic.
In 2025, life changed enormously. I lost my beloved mum, and not long afterwards we experienced a devastating house fire that took almost all of our belongings.
During such a difficult time, I found myself needing somewhere creative to escape to - something that could bring a little joy and magic back into my world.
And so The Crooked Dell was born.
I now create whimsical little cottages by hand, each one completely unique, with it's own name, character and story. I hope they bring a little of the happiness I feel while making them into the homes of the people who choose them.
