Hello there, I'm Shân, owner, designer and maker at Swancott Designs. I make high quality, original textiles and art for your home.

I originally trained as a Fine Art painter, but now, many years later I find myself loving the process of designing and making, especially in fabrics. I am inspired by old maps, typography, botanical and scientific illustration and by the slightly strange and Gothic.

Buying from me

Welcome to my Folksy shop. I design and make original and unique textile items; book covers, home wares and accessories, as well as lino prints and collages. I like to use natural materials like cotton and linen. I find inspiration in all sorts of places from 1950s designs to 17th century engravings. I am particularly fond of images of birds and butterflies as you will see from my shop.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
