Lathe turned items in wood for knitting and weaving.

Welcome to the Woollen Tree on Folksy. We are husband and wife, Sue and Peter Wright. Here we bring together our two crafts in wool and wood.

Sue of SWH (sue wright handknits) is a hand knitter, weaver and spinner, designing her own work.
- I love to use combinations of colour and yarn types to produce unique waistcoats along with knitted and woven bags, hats, scarves, warmers and socks. I also enjoy creating pieces of work on my loom such as, cushions, table runners, throws and small rugs.

Peter of Wright-Turned Wood Turning
-Much of my work is made from "green" wood; therefore over time as it dries out naturally it may distort; this can lead to interesting shapes and adds to its uniqueness.
