Hi, I'm Claire. I run squirkly from my tiny studio in South Wales. I like quirky things, cats, pedantry, the Oxford comma, and making small things (like badges).
squirkly was created to enable people to speak out, without having to actually speak out. My aim is to help people communicate the things that they'd like to say by wearing it as a badge, carrying at as a keyring, or simply having a small pocket pebble that doesn't need to be on display but can be used as a reminder to its carrier to help them in some way.
There are many, many things that people would like to say, and you may not see what you'd like to say here in my store, but I love custom orders, so please do get in touch if you'd like a custom order and we can work together to create something that's perfectly you.
Why am I called squirkly? Well, it originates from the word "squircle", a shape that is neither a square nor a circle. I dislike trying to fit round pegs into square holes, and believe that everybody should have the opportunity and support to be their authentic self.
