Hello! Welcome to Squiggle and Bean.

I started this business 10 years ago under the name Katie Creates, where I loved experimenting with different crafts and creating handmade products full of personality and charm.

In 2021, I decided it was time to rebrand and focus on what I loved creating most - cute, cuddly crochet toys and comforters for babies and children. That’s when Squiggle and Bean was born.

Why Squiggle and Bean? These are the names I called my children during pregnancy, making the brand a very special and personal link to my family.

I wanted a brand that reflected exactly what I create: soft, playful and comforting handmade toys designed to bring joy to little ones and grown-ups alike.

All of my toys are handmade with care and are CE and UKCA tested, making them suitable for all ages. I am also incredibly proud to have been awarded Cuddly Toy Retailer of the Year for both 2022/2023 and 2025/2026 by the Prestige Awards.
