About Sookie Arts and Crafts

Making handmade crafts with love to bring a little calm and magic into your world.

Hi, I’m Sookie, I love to make decorations either for celebrations or just hang up and be enjoyed. I’m also a happy reader so making bookmarks comes naturally. I do embroidery, cross stitch, knitting, and want to eventually introduce new mediums. I like to take inspiration from nature, folklore, and contemporary times. I started crafting as a child and it is part of me, though it fell away with family and working life, creation and spirit never left me. I work from home on a table flowing with material, books, pens, boxes of threads, beads, ideas, designs, tools and fairy lights.
I have only recently set up my Folksy shop so it will evolve. With Halloween, Winter Solstice, and Christmas approaching and the days getting darker I hope my decorations can give warmth and fun to your days.
