Trained at the University of Brighton, showcasing her first collection 'Moroccan Jazz' at Graduated fashion week, which was inspired by Moroccan culture and 1920s fashion. Since graduating she has internship for many independent brands in and around London as well as owning her own shop in Lewes. When the pandemic hit in 2020 she had to permanently close her business due to financial difficulties and took at step back from her work. Working in a variety of jobs from caring to cleaning eventually took a job as a full time charity shop manager where she fell in love with second-hand finds. Sonia starting reworking unsellable finds and turning them into wearing fashion accessories. All the products she designs and makes are made from scrap or second-hand materials. This year (2025) Sonia is going on to study Interior Design, and will eventually introduce her home upcycling range.
