Linocut prints and digital illustrations inspired by nature, mythology and folklore

Throughout history, every culture has created its own mythology. Stories are the way we make sense of the natural world around us - and of ourselves. Siren Prints celebrates the heroines of myths and legends, from the goddesses of ancient Greece through to the princesses of Hans Christian Andersen's fairytales.

Linocut is a printmaking technique where designs are carved into linoleum sheets or blocks using small, sharp gouges, similar to wood carving tools. They are inked with a roller or brayer and then pressed onto paper, either by hand or with a printing press, to reveal the design. Due to the nature of the linoprint process, each piece will have it's own little variations and character, meaning it's unique to you.

I sell both open and limited edition prints. Open edition prints will be reprinted multiple times, so if they are out of stock they will likely be back soon. All open edition prints are titled and signed. Limited edition prints will only run for a certain number of prints, and once they are gone, they're gone. All limited prints are editioned with the print number, titled and signed.

I also offer smaller A5 prints and greetings cards, based on digital illustrations and original linocut designs, as a more affordable way to indulge in some art for your home.
