Hey! Welcome to my Folksy shop!
My name is Victoria and I can honestly say that I didn't expect an impromptu purchase of a microwave kiln in 2021 would lead to the creation of my small business, Simply Glass Design.
I can't even say it was anything to do with lockdown, as during that period I was lucky enough to work full time, and to this day, I am not sure how I ended up here. But I am so glad I did!
A few years later I have expanded and now make larger pieces of fused glass homeware as well as jewellery in my workshop aka 'My little shed' in Wiltshire.
As I continue to experiment with different techniques and colours, I am learning about myself, what I like to make and, from your feedback, what you like too!
All the work you see on my website has been produced solely by me in small batches. Working in this way promises individual and unique pieces every time.
My business is growing organically, just as I like it. For me, this is the most stable growth pattern and one that I can manage alongside my day job and busy family live. It also enables me to deliver on customer expectations and care about ensuring you receive the best service, from purchase through to after sales.
