Hi, I’m Julie — the maker behind Silver Aura Designs.
Ten years ago, I took a silversmithing class at a local college, and I’ve been hooked ever since. What began as a quiet curiosity grew into a deep‑rooted passion for creating jewellery with soul — pieces that hold meaning, tell a story, and feel truly personal.
I work from my home studio in Swansea, Wales, surrounded by rugged coastline and lush countryside. This beautiful landscape inspires much of my work, from the textures of weathered leaves and twisted roots to the glow of moonlit skies.
Each piece is made by hand using traditional silversmithing techniques and fine silver metal clay — shaped with care, intention, and a touch of alchemy. I work in one‑of‑a‑kind designs and small batches, crafting wearable art that is as unique as the person who wears it.
Nature is my greatest muse, and I’m endlessly inspired by the quiet beauty of gemstones and the energy they carry. I believe jewellery can be more than adornment — it can be a talisman of connection, grounding, and a spark of everyday magic.
