Paint pouring= patience, practice and more patience…

Hi, I’m Michelle and thank you so much for visiting my shop!

A little about me… I am a stay at home mum to toddler twins. I absolutely love it, they keep me very busy and bring so much joy to everyone they meet.

I started paint pouring nearly 4 years ago. I saw a video of a lady blowing paint with a hairdryer and wanted to try, it looked so much fun & easy! It was fun, but not as easy as it looks!

Having looked into paint pouring a little more, there are over 100 techniques. You can use lots of household items to make fascinating effects and turn it into something captivating. There really are no limits to what you can use. I have used kitchen roll, raw spaghetti, balloons, tooth picks, empty kitchen roll tubes, to name a few.

My favourite technique is the “Dutch” pour. With this technique you blow the paint out, whether it’s with a hair dryer, a straw or just your mouth. What I love about this art form is there really are no limits, you can try any colours and any household items. You can pour over anything and everything also.

To try and keep waste to a minimum, I use the overspill paint and make jewellery and keyrings. You can get some beautiful different patterns and they are really fun to make.

After a busy day, I love to mix some paints and pour away, it’s the best therapy for me.

I hope you love my items and thanks again for visiting my shop.

Take care, M xx
