My inspiration usually takes place at about 3am - waking with an idea having dreamt about some particular fabric, usually it's already in my stash just waiting for some inspiration.
I collect Harris Tweed and vintage Japanese ceremonial kimonos. my children's inheritance is hidden behind the wooden doors of cupboards in my studio. My happy place!
However, I do actually have a life too. I have a grand-dog called Ava the Airedale who keeps me exercised when she comes for a sleepover and watches over me whilst I sew - looking at me longingly waiting for her next walk and Frisbee throw!
I'm retired from the real world of work and just having fun with fabric - oh and my embroidery machine. So, every sort of bag imaginable, pouches, lap blankets. Plus I take commissions, so if there's anything you would like for that special occasion just let me know.
