Recycled and upcycled gifts, home wares, garden furniture and children's toys - all made from discarded waste material with love and care!

Here at Secondtimearound we recycle and upcycle: we believe that if we can make something new out of something that's going to be wasted, we should!
We take scrap timber (flooring, pallets, decking etc) and turn it into tables, deckchairs, guitars(!), garden planters and even ponds. We sell all of these items on local FB selling pages and at local Bristol Markets as they are expensive to transport.
At the moment on FOLKSY we will be listing our smaller, lighter items including textile jewellery, rag rugs and other goodies which we make and sell. All fabrics and yarns are recycled and given a second chance!
We aim to reduce our landfill locally, we collect all scrap from local businesses and charity shops. We charge only a nominal amount for the raw materials and then we add on our labour.

You won't be able to find any of our products on the highstreet they are all made as one offs and are totally unique.

Buying from me

A business dedicated to recycling and upcycling! Based in North Somerset, Second Time Around takes discarded raw materials such as textiles, wood, metal, plastic and other such items and repurposes them into something new.
Items include jewellery, home ware items, garden furniture and table ware, art and many other individual items. No two items are the same and you won't find any of our items on the High Street.
We work from a workshop in our garden and we only charge a nominal amount for raw materials as they are often donated (we do have costs to collect materials) and then we add on a bit on top for our labour. We believe that if we all do our bit and recycle, we can really make a difference. Items can also be custom made depending on availability of raw materials.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
