I’m Lucy, an illustrator and product designer with an MA in Illustration and many years experience!
I love finding and sharing joy through the work I make. I believe in quality, sustainability, and supporting small businesses, keeping money as local as possible.
Everything I create comes from my own ideas, designs, and hands. I take inspiration from my surroundings and from vintage objects, things from a time when life felt simpler.
I reject overproduction and consumerist culture, which supports the wealthy and targets the poor, and more often than not uses unethical labour. I make to order to avoid waste and use recycled or sustainable materials wherever possible, reusing and repurposing when I can. My work is handmade in small scale batch production, allowing me to take trade orders at a fair and reasonable cost.
I hope my products bring joy not only in their use, but in knowing who made them, how they were made, and where they came from. The story behind each piece matters.
