Meet the Maker

Hi, I’m Jess — the hands and heart behind Scroll and Spool, my little corner of creativity where I hand sew whimsical, practical, and lovingly made items for fellow adventurers, dreamers, and everyday heroes.

I first discovered sewing back in school, where I fell in love with the quiet rhythm of needle and thread. Life took me on a few quests since then (some involving dragons, others just my dogs and dice), but recently I’ve rekindled that passion and begun setting up my Folksy and Etsy shops to share my creations with the world, as well as my blog!

When I’m not stitching away, you’ll find me immersed in fantasy books, rolling dice in D&D campaigns, shuffling decks in Magic: The Gathering, or exploring the great outdoors with my dogs. I’m also a big fan of board games and PC gaming — anything that sparks imagination and brings people together.
