About SanGalloDesign

Bringing life to saris

Jill here. Got into serious crafts when the kids flew the nest.
Before Covid my husband and I enjoyed doing craft fairs, from agricultural shows, Christmas markets and everything in between.
When events closed down during Covid, we opened our SanGalloDesign shop on Etsy and have around 7000 sales at present.
My sister in law, who lived in India for many years, started to bring home sari material and I really loved the beautiful designs and softness of the silk.
I now regularly buy one of a kind vintage saris from India and, with various materials such as tweed, turn them into infinity scarves I enjoy the thought that they are getting a new lease of life
I am looking forward to getting involved in Folksy and connected with like minded people .
