I make beaded jewellery for people with a weakness for old things, dark colours and pretty details.

I’ve always been drawn to the way things used to be slow, personal, and custom made. Jewellery, clothes and accessories were often made to be kept, customised and worn as an expression of the person who owned them and their lifestyle. I love that maximalist approach to getting dressed, where more is more and every little detail says something about you.

I started making jewellery because I wanted pieces that felt like that. I didn’t want to make the sort of safe, interchangeable jewellery that disappears into an outfit. I wanted to make pieces with personality, whether that means something dark and ornate, colourful and strange, or simply a combination of colours you don't often see.

For me, the best jewellery feels like it belongs to its owner. I want my pieces to be worn, mixed, layered and made your own, rather than looking like everyone else’s.

Two cats also supervise the business. They contribute no actual labour, but their unwavering confidence that they are in charge keeps the whole operation moving.
