About Running Wild Pottery

Running Wild Pottery

Unique, one of a kind hand made pottery - something as unique as you are.

I'm a self-taught potter who lives in the Shropshire hills.

I've been making things I love since 2019 in my home studio which looks out to Pen Y Fan in Wales to the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire.

I live where Lord of the Rings was inspired, and Baggins Wood is just down the road. My garden is alive all year round, from Northern Lights, Bats and Owls to Ladybirds, Bunnies and Wrens. Snow in April and sunrises better than any Hollywood film.

My inspiration comes from the life around me. From the natural copper in the brook to the bees hiding underground from my dogs.

I never thought pottery would be my love, a home for my soul. I found it by accident but felt like I'd been missed it my whole life.
My work is unique, one of a kind. No sets of the same thing here - that's what Ikea is for.

My work needs to speak to your soul, you need to have a connection deep in your belly. My work crosses art and function. Beautiful things for you to use, because we all deserve beautiful things that make that morning cuppa tea better, makes your heart flutter when you walk into the room and see it and have something which is as unique as you are.

Everything I make is made for one person, it's my job to connect them together.
