50g white alpaca fibre
Rose Meadow Alpacas£5.00
In 1978, the first ever privately owned alpacas in the UK took up residence in a paddock just outside a small Sussex town. Eustace, his lady friend Snowflake, and her young son Snowball formed the herd. This herd multiplied over the years, eventually outgrowing the paddock, so they moved to Rose Meadow Farm where they have lived ever since, enjoying the acres of extra space and the idyllic rolling Sussex countryside.
The original herd has long since gone, but their descendants, mixed in with some new additions from other herds, are still producing heaps of fibre to this day.
