Handmade pottery for your garden and home

I started to make pottery after I lost my son Matt to suicide in 2018 at the age of 20.

My sister encouraged me to go to pottery classes as a distraction and therapy. Occasionally I would bring a bit of clay home to practice on. This eventually escalated to buying a kiln with my sister, then a wheel , then taking over the whole garage as a pottery studio.

Through the sale of my pottery I have raised over £11000 for Papyrus, for the prevention of young suicide. My target is now £20000.

I love the feel of clay and its versatility. I prefer handbuilding as the possibilities are endless. Plants and nature inspire me and its wonderful to see my pieces in friends gardens and homes.

I live with my husband and 2 cats Bob and Ben, who are my special furry friends. I have an older son Alex, who lives in Hastings at the moment, and who has helped to keep me going through dark times.
