My work is carried out in my 'downstairs' or 'upstairs' workshops!
Downstairs is where my Laser cutter, CNC Router and painting is done.
I have invested in the latest 36W diode laser and built a custom cutting frame to allow design of up to 1000mmx500mm to be cut from one sheet and am currently increasing my CNC frame to the same dimensions!!
I am a qualified elec/mech engineer by trade and as such enjoy a challenge by being given an idea to bring to life!!
My current paint range is over 100 available colours but can adapt to suit colour matching if needed.
Upstairs is where I arrange and work on designs using the latest software.
I use sublimation printing to create ceramic items such as mugs, plant pots and tiles as well as most other sublimation items using heat press transfer.
I also use a Cricut machine for vinyl and cloth cutting for complete designs or for thing as simple as felt bases for wooden coasters.
Wooden items are my favourite to create and I buy and edit some existing designs but more often than most, the designs require altering to fit (or just starting from scratch!) to get the required finished item.
Lamp shades, table lamps, door signs and wall art are just some of the wooden items I make.
I enjoy a challenge and at the moment, I am in the middle of creating a large Antique Oak mirror (approx. 1200mmx600mm) from scratch and DEFINITELY been learning new skills!! (Photos when complete).
