Individual handcrafted ceramics

I have been making ceramics for about 30 years, inspired by my father, who in turn was enthused by Indian village potters and making his own bricks to build a new hospital nurses home. I then attended various evening classes and courses.

I enjoy throwing, but like manipulating the pieces so that they are not straightforward round pots! Extrusions and slab work are also great fun.

I live in Petersfield, Hampshire. We used to have cats!

Buying from me

I have been potting for over 30 years.
I enjoy altering thrown forms and making composite forms using different methods. Most recently I have had a go at making animals and birds from thrown components, and also tackling the potter’s ultimate quest, a teapot (that works!). My next project is weaving clay.
Meanwhile, here are some of the items I have already made.
