I create work inspired by my surroundings at the time, I see the world through rainbow glasses and hope to make people smile!

I was born and grew up in Cornwall, then moved to Bristol in my early 20s for a change of scenery. I have been developing my creative style by doing quick sketches of buildings and landscapes that inspire me, taking photos of different streets and features that catch my eye, and making a note of colours that I feel reflect the atmosphere of the place.

I began making work when I was 17 and studying Fine Art at Truro College. Since then my work has been exhibited in various exhibitions and markets in Cornwall and Bristol. I like to listen to feedback and to develop my work according to what people wish to see more of, as well as taking risks with my work by painting a place or choosing an angle which isn't as obviously pretty as other places.

I am now working on some slightly different illustrative projects with the hope to explore different subjects, whilst still using the same vibrant inks and intricate drawing style that I have been developing all these years. I love wildlife- trees, birds, bees, fish! so perhaps these things will feature in my next body of work.
