The Art of Wildlife

Hi there, my name's Rachel Standley. Wildlife has always been a big part of my life, and I’ve been fortunate to work directly with British species as a wildlife carer. My background includes photography, digital art, and more recently, learning the craft of laser cutting. Bringing those skills together has opened the door to creating thoughtful, nature‑inspired pieces that reflect the animals I care about.

Some of the first things I made on the laser cutter were wildlife pins, inspired by the RSPB badges I used to collect to mark the species I’d spotted. Turning that idea into my own designs felt like a natural step — a way to celebrate the creatures I love in a small, wearable form.

I’ve become especially passionate about beetles, moths, and other tiny wonders, creating stylish, characterful pieces that highlight just how beautiful these little creatures really are.
