Hello my name is Patricia and I run Purse Your Lips from my garden studio in a village in West Sussex where I design and make bags and accessories in gothic, floral and bright fun fabrics.
Like many people I sewed as a child but drifted away from it as I grew up. Until one day I needed a bag for a special occasion and couldn’t find anything I liked. So I thought I would have a go myself, how difficult can it be I thought!
I had so much fun with it, it wasn’t long before I was making for family and friends and so with much encouragement from my family Purse Your Lips was born.
I find designing and sewing very relaxing and calming. I also love fabric and am crazy for bright colours, gothic fabrics and bold colours and patterns as well as the odd or unusual.
