Welcome to PosieAndMarmalades where you'll find lots of cross stitch goodies.

I have always loved drawing and art. I can remember visiting relatives and always taking a bag of stuff to keep me entertained while the oldies were nattering, this would usually include loads of paper and pens.

I ended up going to college for 6 years, firstly studying general art and design, then fashion which progressed into a degree course in fashion and promotion. Weirdly I didn't enjoy the sewing and making of clothes so much but loved the illustration side of things.

To cut a long story short I have always drawn and made cards, my mum got me into cross stitch and it evolved from there and along the way i worked out how to turn my drawings into cross stitch designs and charts.

I live with my husband, son and my lovely black cat called Stitch (who enjoys keeping me company while I design and stitch).
