We bring your furniture design ideas to life!

Glenn's passion for wood work began at a young age, as a child he could often be found tinkering in the garage with his Granddad, crafting bird houses and storage chests. These early influences would shape Glenn's future and he now has more than twenty years experience in the carpentry and kitchen and bedroom fitting business.

Glenn is meticulous and innovative in his approach, never leaving a job until it's finished to his exacting standards. He listens attentively to his customers to ensure their wishes are understood and delivered. Over the years many of Glenn's customers have requested him to design and create a number of home furniture solutions, including; garden planters, benches, coffee tables, media units and shelving. In undertaking this work Glenn believes good timber should not be wasted and he developed a passion for sourcing reclaimed timbers and creating unique one off pieces, finished with the highest quality waxes, stains, varnishes and chalk paints, resulting in quality bespoke items which are built to last...and so Planked Furniture Design was born.
