Creating personalised pebble art for all occasions.

Crafting has always been my hobby, as a Secondary School Science teacher and single Mum, I use crafting as a means of de-stressing. About two years ago I started selling some of my pictures and from there Pebbles & Wibb was born.

I absolutely love the beach, listening to the waves and feeling the sand under my feet. My girls and I visit the coast as often as we can, we walk the dog ( I walk, the kids and the dog run wild!), build sandcastles, have a picnic and collect stones and shells. It was during one of these outings that I noticed all of the colours and patterns that appear on the pebbles and set to thinking about how I could use these in my crafting.

Every design that appears in my shop originated as a gift for a family member, friend or important person in mine or my daughters life. A gift that I made especially for a particular occasion or to convey a certain sentiment. If I wouldn't give my pictures as gifts why would my customers? Each picture has its own personal meaning for me and as I make orders I am often reminded about who I made the very first picture for.

All of my pictures are created in my converted summerhouse. For the first 18 months I worked in the cupboard under the stairs with very little room and no natural light! I was lucky enough to be able to insulate and board out my summerhouse and turn it into my little sanctuary where I can get creative.

The pebbles and driftwood I use to create my pictures come from along the Lincolnshire coastline or from the eastern beaches of Spain. Each pebble art picture I create will be unique and special; the pebbles I collect vary in colour and shape.
