Creating sentimental cards that touch the heart

Hi I'm Laura. I create handmade cards with a touch of sentiment. I have four children and a dog that keep me very busy but creating is the little bit of me time I enjoy. My family are my inspiration.

I started creating when I made a pebble picture for my lovely mum. After my dad died we had lots of little signs from butterflies and especially dragonflies and it felt poignant to make a piece along those lines in memory of him. I wanted to create something personal and heartfelt for my mum and this is what I try to do with all my work. Since producing this first piece I have not stopped creating. I find it very therapeutic. I love seeing the pebbles take shape into a piece of art that tells a story and creating poems and touching wording for my cards. They are a lovely keepsake.
