Hello, and welcome to Tiny Bird! My name is Pauline, a British-born artist who has spent her entire life in the South West of England.

To be honest, it took me quite a while to reach this point. I adore creating just about anything, but the thought of selling my work or putting myself out there was daunting. I once made occasion cakes and found success, but I yearned for something more. I needed to expand my horizons and share my creative spirit; my soul craved a purpose. Life's too short, so I took the plunge.

And thus, Tiny Bird came into existence.

Tiny Bird is a boutique filled with handcrafted art, all designed by me and inspired by nature. Residing in picturesque Somerset, I frequently venture to the southwest shores of Cornwall and Devon with the two wonderful men in my life, my boyfriend Ben and son Brandon. We cherish our beachcombing adventures for shells and driftwood, savouring the invigorating salty breeze and the precious, off-the-beaten-path walks. We take long strolls through the rolling hills and woodlands of Somerset and Dorset, not to mention our proximity to the breathtaking Quantocks, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Each piece I create is unique, born from my imagination and intuition, taking me wherever they please. I'm passionate about mixed media, experimenting with wood, paints, ink, and resin, and weaving in the lovely treasures we discover on our journeys. I craft resin picture frames and bunting, incorporating driftwood and seashells from the coasts of Devon, Cornwall, Scotland, and even the Canary Islands. My love for ocean-inspired designs is evident, especially the blue hues, which are my absolute favourite, leading me to create many ocean-themed pieces. I'm a true beach chick at heart.

As a shop owner, my excitement is boundless. I wake up eager to work on my creations, with my head always brimming with ideas. I get butterflies from all the wonderful comments people give me and I'm looking forward to growing and becoming.
