Sustainable Silver Jewellery inspired by nature

I am a silversmith, beachcomber and forager and am always on the lookout for shells, sea glass and interesting plants that can inspire my next creation. I carefully make moulds from my beach combing and foraging finds, so that I can recreate them in silver. Sometimes this will take the form of a silver leaf or shell and other times I will use the natural texture within an abstract form.

I use traditional silversmithing techniques for much of my work and also use silver clay, a newer material which is fantastic for recreating natural textures and forms.

I love creating jewellery with sea glass, encasing sea tumbled treasures in bezels, to make necklaces and rings.

Working as sustainably as possible is important to me and all of the silver that I use is recycled. This has the same quality and purity as standard silver with less environmental impact. I use the minimum of chemicals in my studio.

I live and work on the edge of Dartmoor.
