Crafty creative maker of sorts

I’m a Californian born & raised. My little fur baby, Ronda, and I moved to this beautiful country 10 years ago this November. The cold and rainy weather (which I love!) ignited my love of chunky sweaters, being cosy and matching outfits! My Grandma taught me to crochet when I was very young but it really took off when I moved here…not knowing anyone and not having much to spare financially- I needed something to do. I gravitated to what I knew and then learned a whole lot more!! Now I’m a fully yarn obsessed crocheter.

I crochet mostly wearables- hats, scarves, cardigans, headbands, scrunchies and hand warmers but I also do blankets, bags, eco-friendly towels, wash-cloths, face scrubbies, soap bags, plant pot cosies & ice-cream pot cosies.

I like to make things that I like, hopefully others will like them too! I also dable in wood burning, jewelry making, and sewing. I am inspired by the weird and wonderful, nature, macabre, colours and textures. I love bright colours, pastel rainbows, glitter, iridescence and black. High contrasting combinations resonate with my core. I love pigeons, crows, seagulls, and well all birds really… all animals… Undiagnosed AudHD Gemini with a Pisces Rising- you try to make sense of that!
