Meaningful jewellery, illustrated in recycled silver

Hi, I’m Lindsay, designer and founder of Ojewellery.

I create jewellery designed to hold meaning. Pieces inspired by nature, memories, milestones and the people and places that matter to us.

My signature Illustrated in Silver collection brings animals, birds, flowers, wildlife and meaningful symbols to life in recycled sterling silver. Each design begins as an illustration, developed with attention to expression, texture and detail before being translated into silver.

The recycled sterling silver coin pendants and engraved disc pendants are handcrafted by me in the UK. They are engraved, finished, cleaned and prepared at my Ojewellery workshop in Cheshire. Many can also be personalised on the reverse with a name, date, initials or short message, creating a keepsake that feels individual to the person receiving it.

My background is in mechanical design engineering, which still influences the way I work. I am naturally drawn to precision, proportion and the process of turning an idea into something physical. Customer ideas are also an important part of the collection, and some designs begin with an animal, flower or story someone has been unable to find elsewhere.

Alongside Illustrated in Silver, I design a wider collection of natural gemstone jewellery, developed around the colour, character and symbolism of each stone.

Gifting is a big part of Ojewellery. Every order is prepared to arrive ready to give, with thoughtful presentation, a meaning card, optional personalised message and letterbox friendly packaging. It is designed to make sending something meaningful feel simple, even when you are sending directly to the recipient.

Ojewellery Ltd was founded in 2021, built on more than 20 years of online trading experience. I remain the person juggling many hats - doing the designs, handling the making process, answering emails and managing customer requests and the final presentation of every order.
