Cork is beautifully renewable, lightweight yet strong, naturally water-resistant, and completely unique in its grain - no two bags are ever completely identical. Each one carries its own subtle patterns and character - just like those who wear them.

Hi, I’m Emma - the hands and heart behind OakSouls.

I’m completely self-taught, having fallen in love with the process of designing and crafting handbags from this incredible, sustainable material. What began as curiosity quickly became a passion - especially once I discovered cork fabric.

Cork is beautifully unique. It’s harvested without harming the tree, making it renewable and vegan, yet it’s also remarkably strong, lightweight, and naturally water-resistant. It feels soft and supple in your hands, but it’s durable enough for everyday life. And because of its natural grain, no two pieces are ever exactly the same.

That individuality is what I love most. Every bag I make carries its own character - thoughtfully designed, carefully handcrafted, and created to last.
