Hello, I’m Charlotte Elise — a 27-year-old mum of three (two earthside and one forever in my heart). I’m fairly new to sewing, having taught myself while pregnant with my first daughter, Nellie. I was very poorly with POTS at the time and needed something creative to focus on, which led me to discover my love for making beautiful, handmade pieces. That’s how Nutmeg and Bentley was born two years ago — named after my two adored childhood cats who still hold a special place in my heart. What started as a gentle distraction has grown into a passion for creating thoughtful, lovingly made items to share with others.
