Hi, I’m Ricky, the maker behind Nash & Skeels Limited.

I create handmade wooden homeware and practical pieces for the home, with a focus on solid wood chopping boards, serving boards, and small handcrafted items made with care.

I started making wooden products through my love of carpentry, furniture making, and working with natural materials. I enjoy taking a piece of timber and turning it into something useful, long-lasting, and full of character. Every board has its own grain pattern, colour, knots, and natural details, which means no two pieces are ever exactly the same.

My work is made by hand in my workshop, where I cut, shape, sand, finish, and inspect each item myself. I like to focus on quality, practical design, and a finish that feels good to use every day.

At the moment, I mainly work with beautiful English oak, along with other hardwoods when available. My aim is to create pieces that are not only useful in the kitchen but also make lovely gifts for new homes, weddings, birthdays, Christmas, or anyone who appreciates handmade wooden items.
