It is no exaggeration to say that once I had visited the island of Murano in Venice and seen the fabulous handmade glass there, that I was smitten. That was some years ago and since then I have been busy designing and making my own Murano glass jewellery. I have visited the island of Murano several times and sourced many of my exquisite glass beads there as well as making contact regularly with the amazing glass makers. One of the special characteristics of Murano glass is that no two beads are the same and many are lined with silver and gold leaf giving them a rich opulence and light reflecting quality. I combine these beautiful beads with sterling silver, Swarovski crystal and gold-filled gold to compliment them and all designs are completely unique both in design and availability.
