I am Catherine, founder of Motherbeast Boutique.
I adore creating with new and old crafts. Some passions: tatting, Crochet (traditional/modern/tunisian), knitting (particular penchant for an aran or a nice cotton) Handsewing..what's not to love? machine sewing..so satisfying, macrame and recently my preoccupation is with nail binding, and also trying my hand at creating yarn from the common nettle.
I adore to weave both the traditional and the novel crafts into my designs.
I am a wild and witchy woman, a mother, a friend. I adore to be outside tending to my equestrian pals and observing nature. I sketch, draw and relax surrounded by trees, wildlife and my horses. Cats, cosiness and comfort are my alter ego. I have not completely hung up my dancing shoes yet though so music, rhythm and tempo inspire my creativity.
My design and art work bring the stimulating world I love and care about into another dimension.
